Why Diane is excited to join CDEL's Governing Board: ”I am delighted to join CDEL’s Governing Board and to support CDEL’s mission of providing free legal services to low-income seniors and persons with disabilities who reside in Chicago and the surrounding Cook County communities. Over the years, my pro bono work has focused on providing access to our legal system for marginalized community members, and I remain committed to doing so through my work with CDEL. I look forward to continuing to serve as a volunteer attorney with CDEL and to helping to foster the spirit of pro bono service throughout the Chicago legal community.”

Even with my legal background, trying to help my own family members with legal topics related to aging and disabilities was challenging. That is why I am particularly thankful that low-income people in Chicago and suburban Cook County can rely on CDEL’s expertise and programs through these difficult personal matters."
