Saniya Ashiqali is a paralegal at CDEL providing support for the Early Resolution Program. She joined CDEL in March of 2023.

Prior to joining CDEL, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Roosevelt University in 2022. After that, she interned for the Lawyer's Committee for Better Housing where she assisted with the Rentervention program.

Saniya is a first-generation American and the first in her family to receive a higher education. She hopes to attend law school in the future to pursue her Juris Doctor. Helping those with limited resources is a passion for her and she hopes to one day become an immigration attorney.
