Kevin Sheehan is CDEL’s Extended Representation Staff Attorney. In this role, Kevin handles the extended representation of housing clients facing eviction and other housing issues.

Since 2021, Kevin has represented tenants in Cook County and Central Illinois. He previously worked as an eviction defense and fair housing attorney at Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic, and Legal Aid Chicago. Kevin has also worked as an Assistant Legal Counsel for the Illinois State Senate.

Kevin earned his Juris Doctor from the DePaul College of Law in 2015 and served as the President of the Appellate Moot Court Society. He also graduated from the University of Dayton in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science.
