Thank You for Celebrating CDEL's 40th Anniversary! |
Thank you for celebrating CDEL's 40th Anniversary with us this year! From another successful Winter Awards Benefit in February, to CDEL's Alumni Event in September, 2024 was full of celebration and reflection of CDEL's history. Throughout this year, we shared "Blast from the Past" features on many important subjects of CDEL's history and success as an organization: -
Robert Michalak: CDEL Founder and CDEL Director Emeritus
- Theresa Jaffe: CDEL Governing Board Member, Immediate Past President, and founder of CDEL's annual Winter Awards Benefit
- Erin Maus: CDEL Director Emeritus, Volunteer, and Former CDEL Governing Board President
- Thomas Demetrio: CDEL Governing Board Member and Supporter
-
Judge Richard Jay Elrod: Former CDEL Governing Board Member, Director in Memoriam, and Supporter
- Lucy Park: Former CDEL Governing Board Member, Volunteer, and Supporter
- Kimberly McClain: CDEL Supporter, Former CDEL Staff Member and Young Professionals Board Member
- Michael Roth: CDEL Supporter, Former CDEL Governing Board Member and Executive Director
-
Addison Braendel: CDEL Governing Board Member, Volunteer, and Supporter
You can read all about these subjects, watch our 40th Anniversary video, or see CDEL's History Timeline anytime at CDEL's 40th Anniversary webpage. Thank you for learning, celebrating, and reflecting on CDEL and its history with us this year! |

There is Still Time to Give in 2024! |

"There's too many words. It's hard for me to learn to trust, and CDEL’s compassion earned my trust. There's not enough nice stuff to say about Marlo. I feel like I'm starting to heal after my divorce. Marlo is so kind and supported me emotionally through the legal divorce process. They reduced my anxiety quite a bit - they didn't have to go above and beyond, but they did. They are wonderful; I almost can't believe there is someone like Marlo out there. I couldn't have gotten through without their help!" - CDEL Client Mary

|
Mary felt an immense amount of relief and safety after working with CDEL Staff Attorney Marlo Pahl in getting her divorce finalized. CDEL’s embedded community clinics at BUILD, Inc, and the Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation are great for clients like Mary to get the legal assistance they need in the community they live and feel most comfortable in. We hope you will come together and support CDEL in celebration of all that we have accomplished in 2024 and for the past 40 years. Support CDEL clients like Mary in getting the justice they deserve.
