CDEL Welcomes Four New Board Members!
This summer, CDEL welcomed Four New Board Members to the CDEL Board of Directors. They are: Diane Bonina of Federal Signal Corporation; Talita Ramos Erickson of McDonald’s Corporation; Kristine Iida of Walgreen Co.; and Mary Quigg of Quigg & Associates, LLC.

Diane has been an active volunteer in her community. She provides pro bono representation through the Equal Justice Initiative and National Immigrant Justice Center; serves as a mentor and tutor through the Legal Prep Charter Academy; taught legal themed curriculum to Chicago Public School middle school students through the Edward J. Lewis Lawyers in the Classroom Program. She is also a long time volunteer with her alma mater, Dartmouth College.
Diane received her J.D from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in English with a minor in Environmental Studies in 1985.
Talita is a member of three Bar Associations: Brazil, New York, and Illinois. She has served on the board of two nonprofit organizations: The Cradle and the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement. She has also been recognized as a leader in the U.S. Latinx business community, including Illinois Diversity Council 2017 Legal Champion award, 2019 Crain’s Notable General Counsel, 2019 Top 50 Most Powerful Latinas in Corporate America by ALPFA, and 2019 Chicago United Top 50 Business Leaders of Color.
Talita graduated from the Federal University of Parana State School of Law in Brazil with a Bachelor’s of Laws, (equivalent to a J.D. from a U.S. accredited law school) in 2003. She then went on to receive her Masters of Laws in Business Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2006. Afterwards, she received her MBA from the University of Chicago School of Business in 2009 before getting her PhD in Law & Economics from the Universities of Bologna, Hamburg, and Rotterdam in 2012.
Kristine graduated from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1996. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ripon College in 1986. Before going to law school, Kristine spent three years teaching English in rural Japan, traveling, and then working as a bilingual flight attendant between the US and Japan. Kristine and her husband, reside in Glenview, and are the proud parents of three children. Kristine sits on the Board of the Glenview Glencoe League of Women Voters and as a member at large on the Glenview Community Church Leadership Council.
